The choice between ALTAM and ASTAM comes down to which material you are more interested in and therefore find more intuitive. We are happy to give you trial access to either course.
While the study duration varies from person to person, it's typical to invest around 375 hours in preparing for this exam (roughly 125 hours per exam hour). Most students spread their study over three to four months, dedicating the first two to three months to learning the material and the final month to solving practice problems. Since this might be your first written-answer based exam, we recommend allocating more time for practice. You can use our scheduler to help organize your exam preparation.
